A cross-platform pluggable text editor. Plugins are managed by `apm`. Note: Atom has been sunsetted and is no longer actively maintained. Use `zed` instead.

Options (4)

-n, --new-windowboolean

Open a file or directory in a new window

Example: atom {{[-n|--new-window]}} {{path/to/file_or_directory}}
-a, --addboolean

Open a file or directory in an existing window

Example: atom {{[-a|--add]}} {{path/to/file_or_directory}}
-f, --foregroundboolean

Prevent Atom from forking into the background, keeping Atom attached to the terminal

Example: atom {{[-f|--foreground]}}
-w, --waitboolean

Wait for Atom window to close before returning (useful for Git commit editor)

Example: atom {{[-w|--wait]}}
