Screenshot utility for the Hyprland Wayland compositor.

-m, --modeboolean

Select and take a screenshot of a region

Example: hyprshot {{[-m|--mode]}} region

-z, --freezeboolean

Freeze the screen and take a screenshot of the selected region

Example: hyprshot {{[-z|--freeze]}} {{[-m|--mode]}} region

-o, --output-folderboolean

Select and take a screenshot of a specific window, saving to the given output directory

Example: hyprshot {{[-o|--output-folder]}} {{path/to/directory}} {{[-m|--mode]}} window

hyprshot [-m|--mode] region

Select and take a screenshot of a specific window
