Get LSB (Linux Standard Base) and distribution-specific information.

Options (4)

-a, --allboolean

Print all available information

Example: lsb_release {{[-a|--all]}}

-d, --descriptionboolean

Print a description (usually the full name) of the operating system

Example: lsb_release {{[-d|--description]}}

boolean

Print only the operating system name (ID), in short format (omitting the field name)

Example: lsb_release {{[-is|--id --short]}}

boolean

Print the release number and codename of the distribution, in short format

Example: lsb_release {{[-rcs|--release --codename --short]}}
