Options (3)

-n, --dry-runboolean

Pretend to load a module into the kernel, but don't actually do it

Example: sudo modprobe {{[-n|--dry-run]}} {{module_name}}
-r, --removeboolean

Remove a module from the kernel

Example: sudo modprobe {{[-r|--remove]}} {{module_name}}
-D, --show-dependsboolean

Show a kernel module's dependencies

Example: sudo modprobe {{[-D|--show-depends]}} {{module_name}}
