Options (3)

-o, --outputboolean

Use a different output filename

Example: xgettext {{[-o|--output]}} {{path/to/output_file}} {{path/to/input_file}}
-j, --join-existingboolean

Append new strings to an existing file

Example: xgettext {{[-j|--join-existing]}} {{[-o|--output]}} {{path/to/output_file}} {{path/to/input_file}}
-h, --helpboolean

Display help

Example: xgettext {{[-h|--help]}}

Scan file and output strings to `messages.po`

xgettext path/to/input_file
